Macau is home to the world’s largest casino as well as the most expensive hotel in the world. It’s probably no surprise then that it was recently listed as the globe’s third-most expensive city for accommodation, behind only New York City and St. Moritz, Switzerland.

But what does an average sticker price of $353 per night for a five-star hotel room actually get you in “Asian Vegas”? Take a peek behind the curtains and see what amenities the world’s richest receive when they stay at one of Macau’s top suites.

10. Four Seasons (Presidential Suite)

Located on the famed Cotai strip is the Four Seasons Macau. Overlooking no less than five outdoor pools is the Presidential Suite, which spans two-floors, has three-bedrooms, four beds and over 3,300 square feet of luxury.

The suite can host up to eight guests comfortably and also features three marble bathrooms, a foyer, dining room, living room, and private bar. Only true VIPs are privy to its cost, but based on the cost of the hotel’s second largest room (the Royal Suite) we guess it easily clears $2,000/night.

9. Conrad (Presidential Suite)

Fit for a President, the suite of the same name at Macao’s Conrad Hilton sits on the 37th floor, offering a panoramic view of the city. Guests can enjoy privacy both from the rest of the hotel and their own travel partners in the 2,800 square foot suite’s large living room and the marble-adorned bathroom featuring a rain shower and spacious oval bathtub.

If you manage to leave the room (although we’re not too sure why you would want to), you’ll take your own special elevator down to the hotel’s many other amenities. These include a spa, health club, and several restaurants headed by Michelin-starred chefs. Those who are privileged enough to enjoy life as a president will shell out over $2,300 per night for the honor.

8. L’Arc (Duplex Suite)

The distinctive L’Arc Macau‘s contribution to this list is unique in that it comes with its own attached private outdoor garden to relax in.

A 42″ LCD stocked with the latest movies from around the world awaits in the living room, which will compete for your attention over the feather pillows waiting on the oversized king beds.

All of L’Arc’s other amenities–such as its authentic Chinese restaurants, high-end retailers, club, and sauna, are a short elevator ride away.

7. The Ritz-Carlton (Two-Bedroom Carlton Club Suite)

One of Macau’s newest hotels is the palatial Ritz-Carlton. Of the Ritz’s many highlights are its two bedroom club-level suites running 1,500+ square feet and $2,500+ per night. Throughout the suite there are no less than five LCD TVs which compete for your attention, as well as giant picture windows offering panoramic views of both Macau and the resort’s many pools.

Guests are also provided four smartphones they can take out on the town with them (or use if they wish to call one another from the suite’s oversize bathtubs to its private powder room).

Staying in these suites also grants you access to The Club Lounge, a 24-hour refuge offering free meals, snacks, and internet service in a mansion-esque setting.

6. Altira (Villa)

The villas at the Altira Macau resort are so big you might need a map to find your way around one.

The highest building on the island of Taipa, the villas at this casino and resort come with 24-hour butler service, plasma TVs, a steam room, and fully stocked kitchen, all spread across the villa’s 2,750 square feet.

When it comes time to leave the room’s luxurious and private setting, guests can enjoy live music at one of the resort’s two clubs or enjoy the floor-to-ceiling windows and underwater music at one of Forbes’ 10 best swimming pools in the world.

5. Wynn Macau (Grand Salon Suite)

Away from the Wynn Macau’s ‘regular’ deluxe rooms is the Encore Tower, home of the lavish Grand Salon Suite. Upon entering, guests are greeted with vibrant reds and golds on just about every surface across the suite’s 2,000 square feet.
