Not all fighters have been learning their craft\nfrom a young age. Many combatants do first step into boxing gyms as children,\nget involved as youthful amateurs and work their way up the pugilistic ladder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There tends to be a stigma that in order to\nbecome a top fighter, you must start at a young age. But there are exceptions\nto that usual trend, and some began fighting much later in life before\neventually stepping into the ring at an older age. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In no particular order, here are 10 fighters who\ngot into boxing late and still managed to carve out successful professional\ncareers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
