Open the walk way make the Belle parking area about 200 yards total so people so the can sit and have coffee let the kids play on the grass make it cooler with trees,the inside with stores high fashion clothing,ronnie dunn of singing group brooks and dunn said his wife did not come with him during his concert stop nowhere for her to shop.

My wife and I enjoyed the Belle for over twenty years and miss the atmosphere it provided along with the awesome feeling the staff provided. We stayed at the Edgewater the first year after the Belle closed and had to move three times because of mold in the tub. Since then we have been staying at the Aquarius, which was a huge improvement from the Edgewater. Should have closed the Edgewater and kept the Colorado Belle open. This may be the last year we go to Laughlin.

It’s a shame that the Colorado Belle more than likely won’t be opening. The layout was great. Festive, fun, and where I spent most of my money. I realize others have their favs,but because of its look,it stood out amoing all other hotels. I feel the decision to keep it closed was the wrong one. To bad.

It’s the Best Place there in Laughlin! Don’t like the added enclosed walkway, sorry but that needs to go. Bring the pastries and donuts back. It would be nice if cleared out and had its own sandy beach. Been going there since like forever, since you first opened. Please reopen so we can continue our memories and bring the town back ALIVE. It’s so desolate there with it shut down. Please fix your water leak in tbe main basement from the fish pond around it so we can have fun there again!

Laughlin needs an upscale 21+ only resort. Perfect opportunity to gut it, reinforce the structure and market it as an adults-only playground. No kids running through the lobby/casino/restaurants would be a dream.

I really don’t understand why re-opening (even just starting the casino portion initially) isn’t on the table. That place would fill up instantly! It is a travesty that the Hotel in Laughlin with the most character is just sitting there vacant. Everyone loved that place. The atmosphere, the live music, the brewery, and just being able to walk through it to get to the Pioneer from Edge Water, made that place extremely essential to visitors.

What is wrong with these people who own the property? There must be something they aren’t telling us.

Remodel and open back up. I agree with the Mardi Gras idea of it. Loved the buffet and the whole feel of it. Made me want to go there all the time.

Throughout the years, we spent so many family get always at the Belle. My wife and I would sit every morning on the balcony with a hot cup of coffee looking at the beautiful views of the river and back drop of the hills of bullhead city. In the evening with a glass of wine and had heartfelt conversations regarding our children and lives together. So many fond memories there. The Belle was different from the other casinos which were much larger, busier, crowded and only window viewed rooms. Laughlin is well known for the unique Colorado Belle, that beautiful boat on the river situated right in the middle of casino row on the river. . It would be just horrible to destroy the ship. I challenge a savvy investor(s) who is/are a creative marketing genius(s) to purchase the Belle, revive it to its profitable capabilities and show the world his/her talents. Make the Belle a vacation getaway for everyone, singles, families, seniors, children, wedding venue, bowling leagues, competitions, offer desert and river excursions, etc.,etc. Bring the world back to Laughlin and the Colorado Belle. Don’t destroy the unique wimsy of the ship that has brought people so many fond memories throughout the years. And as important bring more jobs back to Laughlin.

I was so disappointed to see it closed my wife and did a funky road trip from Phoenix to Vegas to Laughlin and we stayed at the Colorado Belle we both thought it was so unique and was the stage of the whole town, we were just there left yesterday we were so unhappy,we wish you would maybe remodel and reopen such a cool looking and unique place.

Redo the Colorado Belle. Open the River Walk back up so it continues the rest of the way like it did before. Things are not the same and the walk being closed discourages lots of people and families. The Colorado Belle could be remodeled, continue with the old time river boat gambling theme. Add a little modern whimsicle theme and maybe a little Mardi Gras to it and it would be a hit. Get local Music to play, Have some new young talent and even Open Mic nights and have some of the Teens in Music that are better than many adults play music. Continue with the Family Fun. Everyone misses the Colorado Belle and we would love for it to be revamped and open again. Would also love for all of the River Walk to be open. There is so much possibility for the iconic hotel and casino.

Golden has absolutely no experience running a casino and hotel. They bought a few properties In pahrump and now no one goes there. Their promotions stink and they’re cheap.

Their experience lies in owning bars with video poker. A far cry from a casino resort. How these clown companies get gaming licenses is insane to me.

The Colorado Belle is iconic. If they invested in reinvigorating the space add some contracted shops and restaurants, even something for kids..they would definitely make their money back and then some. That property is historic. It be a shame if the historical society deemed it so and they weren't able to do anything....

We spent every trip to Laughlin staying and gambling at the Colorado bell. Our fairies place…..went back once since it closed and will not return unless the bell reopens. The owners made a big mistake by closing that 1 down they could have closed one of the other properties down. The bell was the highlight of Laughlin trips for a lot of people. Everyone I know went constantly to Laughlin and stayed at the Colorado bell. Please consider reopening it or sell it to someone that will.

Colorado Bell was our favorite casino in Laughlin nothing is the same once Aquarius bought them out and closed them down. They had great food and live entertainment on weekend

Golden didn’t get to see the Belle and the attachment people had to it. A good marketing department could get the Belle going again. Offering comps like before would attract lots of customers. The Belle was always packed when they had comps and slot tournaments. Using different areas of the casino to house different types of games would be good. A video keno area with some of the older type keno machines. Interactive slot machine area also with some older games. A couple of 5 dollar blackjack tables. Maybe even a once in a while dollar table. Get people gambling and a few comp drinks will have them spending more money. The Belle can be fixed. Up to the owners on how much they would be willing to put into it.

Re vamp it , gut it and redo the inside, and charge for it. Put a lounge on the top overlooking the river. put a Mardi Gras theme in there. make it fun and exciting.

the colorado belle is my favorite place in laughlin. i visit far less since it closed. the town doesnt feel the same, and having the riverwalk essentially closed right in its heart takes away from the charm of the town. not pleased with golden for closing it down. if they demolish it, i’ll make sure i don’t stay or play at golden properties.

I would like to see another gaming and restaurant venue with a river theme that does not necessarily have a hotel that could be added later there is plenty of land. This would complete the river walk. Putting the event center there would be a poor use of that river front center strip land.
