But because LSU travels to Tuscaloosa next month to face the Crimson Tide, sports bettors like the Clemson Tigers&#8217; title chances over the LSU Tigers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">FanDuel has LSU at 10\/1 to win the College Football Playoff National Championship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Eight ranked teams lost in Week 7:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">No. 3 Georgia to South Carolina 20-17 in double OT<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">No. 7 Florida to LSU 42-28<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">No. 11 Texas to No. 6 Oklahoma 34-27<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">No. 17 Iowa to No. 10 PSU 17-12<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">No. 19 Wake Forest to Louisville 62-59<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">No. 20 Virginia to Miami 17-9<\/li>\n<li>No. 23 Memphis to Temple 30-28<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">No. 24 Texas A&amp;M to No. 1 Alabama 47-28<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Alabama, Clemson vs. Everyone<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/how-california-pay-to-play-bill-intersects-with-sports-betting\">offering up odds<\/a> on Alabama and Clemson against the field in winning the National Championship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The sportsbook has the line on Alabama\/Clemson -130 vs. the field +110. The odds imply a 56.62 percent chance of either the Crimson Tide or Clemson Tigers winning it all. The field is at 47.62 percent, with a $100 bet on any team not named Alabama or Clemson winning netting $110.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Alabama currently has two more games against ranked opponents: No. 2 LSU November 9 at home, and at No. 11 Auburn on November 30. Clemson doesn&#8217;t have any remaining games against ranked opponents, and had only one all year (vs. then-No. 12 Texas A&amp;M in early September).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The ACC has just one ranked team in the AP Top 25. The SEC and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/purdue-like-st-joes-bans-betting-on-its-sports-teams-campuswide\">Big 10<\/a> lead the way with six each. The Pac-12 has four, Big 12 three, and American two.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Week 8 Odds<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Penn State won&#8217;t have much time to celebrate its first win over a ranked opponent in 2019. Instead, the Nittany Lions welcome rival Michigan to Happy Valley for a primetime whiteout. The Lions are spotting the No. 16 Wolverines three points.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">No. 17 Arizona State travels to No. 13 Utah in a major Pac-12 showdown. The Utes are 13.5-point favorites. No. 12 Oregon travels north to Washington to play the No. 25 Huskies. The Ducks are favored by a field goal.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout\">\n<p class=\"p1\">As for the current National Championship odds, after Clemson and Alabama, FanDuel has Ohio State at +700, LSU +1000, and Georgia +1200 rounding out the top five. The next five are Oklahoma (+1600), Wisconsin (+2500), and Auburn, Michigan, and Penn State at +6000.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\">As for the Heisman Trophy, Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is the heavy favorite at +105 \u2013 implied odds of 48.78 percent.
