Judging by an internet that\u2019s nearly breaking with anticipation, whether Travis Kelce will pop the question to Taylor Swift after Super Bowl LVIII is the<\/em> question on tens of millions of minds right now — not<\/em> which football team will win.<\/p>\n

Alas, as Casino.org <\/em>reported on Sunday, there will be no Taylor prop betting<\/a> on Super Bowl LVIII. But that’s only in the U.S., where state gaming regulators are concerned that the outcome of such nonrandom prop bets could be easily influenced or manipulated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In Ontario, Canada, FanDuel has the odds of Kelce taking a knee at +1060 yes and -3000 no — and those odds are rapidly adjusting.<\/p>\n

By the way, this bet stipulates that the proposal must take place \u201con the field after the game,\u201d which implies that bettors must also lay money on a Chiefs victory.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s because the losing team doesn\u2019t get the field and isn\u2019t swarmed by the press. And what athlete would be in the mood to propose after losing one of the most important games of their lives?<\/em><\/p>\n

According to a new Lending Tree survey<\/a> of 2K U.S. consumers, 24% of Gen Zers and 20% of millennials have an supplemented interest in football this year because of Swift\u2019s influence.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there\u2019s one thing that people should\u2019ve learned all too well by now, it\u2019s that you should never be surprised by the enormity of Swift\u2019s influence,\u201d Lending Tree chief credit analyst Matt Schulz said.<\/p>\n

While no one is going on record with an estimate of how much of a ratings kick Swift will deliver to this year\u2019s Super Bowl broadcast, it probably wouldn\u2019t surprise many if last year\u2019s record 113M viewership were nearly doubled.<\/p>\n

As much as it ticks serious football fans off to no end, the interest in \u201cSwelce\u201d (the relationship nickname for Swift and Kelsey) is commodifiably good for the NFL. It\u2019s already credited with being the only reason the October 2 Chiefs game against the New York Jets was the most-watched of the regular season, with 27M viewers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

And in Ontario, at least, this spike means the introduction of sports betting to a demographic beyond 25-40-year-old males … Swifties.<\/em><\/p>\n
