Although, when it’s wearing horizontal stripes, it looks much thinner.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nBellagio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe lobby of Bellagio has more than 2,000 hand-blown flowers by artist Dale Chihuly.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nCaesars Palace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIn 1967, daredevil Evel Knievel attempted to jump the fountains at Caesars Palace on a motorcycle. It was an epic fail.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nCasino Royale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe actual name is Best Western Plus Casino Royale, but nobody calls it that.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nCircus Circus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nCircus Circus has the only RV park on The Strip.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nCosmopolitan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe Cosmo opened in 2010 and has nearly 3,000 rooms.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nThe Cromwell<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe Cromwell was formerly Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon, and before that, Barbary Coast.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nDelano Las Vegas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nDelano used to be The Hotel.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nEncore<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWhen gambling began at Encore, the song playing in the casino was “Luck Be a Lady Tonight.”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nExcalibur<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWhen it opened in 1990, Excalibur was the largest hotel in the world.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nFlamingo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nTwo words: Bugsy Siegel. Back when Las Vegas made sense.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nPlanet Hollywood<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nPlanet Hollywood was previously The Aladdin.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nResorts World<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nResorts World is the most expensive casino resort ever built in Las Vegas.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n <\/p>\n\nThe Stratosphere (The Strat)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe Stratosphere is always happy to see you.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nTreasure Island<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIn 2003, Treasure Island decided to move toward more adult amenities. The hotel’s free pirate battle, “Buckaneer Bay,” was replaced with “Sirens’ Cove,” featuring the scantily-clad Sirens of TI.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nTropicana (Closed April 2, 2024)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\nClosed, but still on our list of Las Vegas hotels because in “Diamonds Are Forever,” James Bond stayed at the Trop.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nVenetian<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe Venetian stands on the site of the former Sands hotel.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nWynn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe Wynn holds the distinction of being the first high-rise to have its windows cleaned by an automatic washing system.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nJust Off The Strip<\/strong><\/p>\n\nGold Coast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe Gold Coast was the first hotel in Las Vegas to have a movie theater.
