A successor has been named for the former Holsteins Shakes and Buns at Cosmopolitan, which we told you was closing<\/a> long before it was announced, as is our way.<\/p>\n

The new concept: Mariposa Rosa Mexican Restaurant.<\/p>\n

They haven’t shared a logo yet, so we made one. “Mariposa Rosa” means “pink butterfly” in Spanish.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In a rare turn of events, the Las Vegas Review-Journal<\/a> was the first to share news about Mariposa Rosa. While the “paper of record” lacks the integrity to give attribution for original reporting, we aren’t that petty, probably.<\/p>\n

What the Review-Journal didn’t say is how hard it is to get excited by another Mexican restaurant.<\/p>\n
